Re: Handstand Accomplished!!!!

Charles Atlas was excellent at handstands. I have seen a video of him on the beach performing a handstand by placing his hands on top of the interlaced hands of his son and daughter. No jerky movements, no kicking of legs or any kind of thrust. Just slowly raisising the legs from the floor and up he...

Re: vintage program

Right on Geosta!!!!! Your experience is the same as mine. When I did the new rotation, given the large number of exercises to perform, when I got to the last lesson of the schedule it was diffciult for me to concentrate in the movement and really had to push myself to finish the workout. Since I use...

Re: Handstand Accomplished!!!!

Thanks Geosta for the kind words. I am too impressed with the results!!!!! I personally feel that our DT mantra "Train, Don't Strain" coupled with working out this movement 3 times per week (other day training) are behind my quick progress.

Re: Handstand Accomplished!!!!

Update on my performace: By now I am up to 10 full handstand push-ups. I am planning on getting the numbers up to 15 and then try to place the hands on stands (small ones first) instead of on the floor to increase the range of motion. The same principle of Atlas Dips but applied to handstands :D You...

Ben, as you should know, DT is a very natural way of training. If you have the doctor's OK to follow it, give it your best!!!!

Re: Starting back up

Great decision Mickey!!!! DT is great beacuse it is all natural. Put your mind in the muscle you are training and you will see results in no time. As Mr. Atlas said, exercise with a WILL. If you would "TRAIN, DON'T STRAIN", the results you are looking for will surely come!!!! :P

Re: Simon's Progress Report

Simon, how is the perpetual lesson going for you? Just curious about it. BTW, you can add to it whatever lesson you think needs more attention :)
