June is men's health month

I noticed on my calendar that June is men's health month. I'm now 66 and now retired from manual labour, so keeping fit is much more important and exercise is done every day. My wife and I are somewhat minimalist, selling our house was the best thing ever and moved into an apartment building. We gave a lot of stuff to Good Will Canada, now we just have basics.

The wife and I live in an apartment building with many older folks, it's very social and help around a lot. The woman who moved in next door is a recent widower and just had a mild stroke, so we help her out often.

Well! I've been retired a year now and getting a little belly fat, I use to work for a builder so was always very active. I'm fairly active but really need to kick it up a few notches.

Every 2 years I get sent a notice to see my doctor about doing a * FOBT card, so gives me an opportunity to have a check up.
