Re: Voting

We recently voted for Mayor and others here in Ontario. Nice for us is that they set up in our apartment building common room for the area, so we just have to go down on the elevator.

Sacroiliac Joint

The treadmill was in use the other morning, there is two beside each other but I still maintain some distance. I went on the water rower and some one leg squatting using the pulley bar on a multi exercise machine for counter balance, then went on the elliptical without using the arm upright handles ...

sacroiliac joint area

8 weeks now and on a good mend. Main thing to avoid too much walking on the street coz of foot hitting the sidewalk (that set it off twice now), treadmill with the front elevated to highest is very good as bodyweight doesn't drop hard on the front foot. Elevation 15 and 3.0 speed. I had been doing a...

Re: sugary food

I'm not much into sugary food, but on occasion a good quality ice cream waffle cone (quite rare). I do drink coffee (black) and also not very often a slice of quality banana walnut cake from a bakery coffee shop. Sometimes my wife will bake cinnamon rolls with a no-knead white bread recipe, somewhat...

Re: white rice

When I bought rice it was always par-boiled converted long grain, then we started cooking with basmati rice from India. What I have found now is extra long grain par-boiled converted that never saw before, it comes from Pakistan. Really good.

Re: Strength

Charles Atlas is great inspiration. I remember my neighbour in the apartment next door having a fall and couldn't get up but was able to phone me. I guess I impressed her when I lifted her up with ease.

Sacroiliac Joint

My early 2005 training in Aikido I was throw pretty good and landed hard on the left sacroiliac joint area, I could barely walk out the Dojo. Over the years working on building sites and heavy warehouse lifting my body has had it's fair share of strain. About 7 weeks ago I woke up with a pinch nerve...

Re: Be Proud of Yourself

I have a t-shirt from a yoga studio that has "Accept Yourself" under their logo, I think I accepted myself a long long time ago.

Everyday get out and about, keep fit and socialize, make friends.
