3 miles a day (as per lesson 8) = 1 hour of walking at average speed a day, or about 6,336 paces for pedometer.

! find Lesson block 1,8 and 9 interesting. I did it for 4 days and gained 0.25 inches on the biceps. But one would think that all that walking interferes with gains. Also 1,8,9 takes over an hour each session to perform. I walked 40-60 min in the morning, did the 1-8-9 lesson block (which takes a minimum of 1hour and 8 min to perform morning and evening if the exercises are staggered to save time)

If I did DIPS properly to begin with beforehand (instead of push-ups...in progress now) , I think my arms would be within an inch of its proper proportion at this point.

Intro
Ive been a student since 2000. I got serious with the course in year 2000 (dips only), 2009, and now. I went from 145 lbs to 170 lbs because of the DT course. I am 44 years old.

Neck: 15.5 in
Forearm: 10.5 in
Arm L: 13 in
Arm R: 13.25 in
Chest: 44 in
Chest (exp): 46 in
Waist: 36.75 in
Hips: 38.5 in
Thigh: 22.5 in
Knee: 14 in
Calf: 13.25 in
Height: 5'11 in
Weight: 170 lbs
Wrist: 6.75 in
Body Fat: 20 % (Charles Atlas was 14%.)

I gained 2 inches in height from Lesson 1 and have to adjust all my measurements. I use my 5'10 height (which I have been most of my adult life) to calculate my body fat, until my height measurements become stable.

Read this today...
You simply wanted to have a few chips, then a few more, then a few more…= “One chip is so small, it can’t have too many calories”….and then the entire bag of chips disappears. Does this sound familiar to you?

I am really sorry to destroy your illusions, but even one small chip has a decent energy content of 11 kcal - you would need 3 min of walking to burn calories just from one potato chip!

Walking for 3 min isn’t a big deal, however, as it never ends up with having only one chip (as one has more and more), it can add up to many, many calories!

If you eat an entire 255 g bag of chips, you would need to walk for 6 hours and 6 minutes (!!!) in order to not gain fat from excess calories. Nobody wants to spend the entire day walking!
