Jumping jacks is also pretty good, like skipping (jump rope).

I didn't have time to walk either, so I started bicycle commuting. Bicycling not only got by legs stronger, but also improved my cardiovascular health tremendously. If your home is not very far from office, I highly recommend it.
Many bicycle commuters who work farther from home are driving half the way and bicycling the other half. I really like bicycling because is easy, practical, fun and does not require extra time for your aerobic exercise.
