Being Grateful

Post by ca_admin »

Today is a day to be grateful for having the will to move through the day and hopefully exercise! Keep up the great work!

I'm a member of a 50 Plus senior centre, has lots of activities for us older folks and is also the Boys and Girls Club, it's a big place. It's a 15 minute walk there each morning at 7am and I use their Fitness Room, then 15 minutes walk back home. Last week I started the Get Fit class at 10:45am so walked back, the class is an hour in the Gymnasium. I now do this 3 times a week, the DT Course and also do a dance class for 45 minutes. This gives me an hour walking each day, plus me and me wife walk for tea and sit outside a nearby coffee shop, I have a Japanese Sencha or Matcha tea. My wife goes Lawn Bowling 3 times a week and does walking/hiking with friends on the other days, plus her Yoga.

Next week I'll be starting a Strength and Stretch 45 minute class, so this will be 4 fit classes and an Ethnic/Cultural Dance plus 7am my solo fitness with DT. I still do Tai Chi at home which takes 30 minutes and includes sword and sabre forms done right and left hand.

Today October 2nd at the 50 Plus centre is a Thanksgiving lunch and social, Canadian Thanksgiving is October 12th.
